Owner and Lead Coordinator

Have you ever watched the movie ’27 Dresses’? I often joke that the movie is my life on DVD (except that I somehow missed out on getting royalties). You name it, and I’ve probably had that role at a wedding. Then in 2006, my best friend was getting married, and she asked me if I’d be willing to coordinate. She was planning the wedding from out of town, and since I knew her so well, she trusted me with assisting in this way for her big day. Her wedding went smoothly, I had a lot of fun and thought that my coordinator experience would end there.

But through the years, I had numerous friends/family ask me to coordinate their wedding. I had a lot of fun helping my friends out in this way and providing them with a stress-free wedding day. In 2016, I started my business, and it unexpectedly grew at a pace that I never could have imagined.  I coordinated 7 weddings that year and began coordinating for couples that I hadn’t previously known. I continued to realize that God gifted me to be able to serve couples in this way and has given me a passion for what I do.

I am so grateful for all of the couples that I get to meet and work with as they plan for their wedding day. Each wedding is unique and special in its own way.   I am a relational and a logistically-minded person; wedding coordinating is the perfect combination of those two traits. My passion is to focus on the details so that you can focus on forever.

I’m often asked if I Do Details is my full-time job…it is not.  I call it my part-time passion. In addition to wedding coordinating, I work full-time at Dutch Valley Food Distributors as their Operations Process Coordinator.  I am blessed work at a ministry serving those in our community and enjoy both my full-time job and the opportunity to run my part-time business working with engaged couples and their families.

Heidi loves Jesus, being a wife, being an aunt, ice cream, time with family & friends, riding motorcycle, sunsets, reading, Switzerland, mountains, and Colorado.

Katie

Lead Coordinator

Katie joined the I Do Details team in 2019. She has a passion for details and efficiency. Her coordinating abilities come as a natural gift.  She is personable, genuinely loves people, and is willing to do what it takes to make your wedding day all you imagined it would be.

In addition to wedding coordinating, Katie has been an elementary school teacher for 13 years. However, favorite job is being a wife to Andre and mom to Josiah, Anna, and Elijah.  She and her husband are involved in their church and love serving together. Katie loves Jesus, family, music, and being in the sunshine.

Samantha

Lead Coordinator

Samantha joined the I Do Details team in 2022 as an Assistant Coordinator, after Heidi coordinated her wedding in April of 2022. Samantha had an interest in wedding planning and working with Heidi on her own wedding fueled the desire.  Samantha’s passion for serving others and organizational skills make the perfect combination for helping your wedding vision come to life.

Samantha also uses her passion to serve others and detail-oriented nature as an infusion nurse at Hershey Medical Center since 2020. After assisting several weddings in addition to being a part-time nurse, she’s excited to be a lead coordinator at I Do Details.

Her favorite role is wife to her husband, Drew, and mama to her two little ones, Nolan and Sophie. She is often at parks or the train station with her family.

She also loves Jesus, and enjoys grabbing a coffee, going to farmers markets, thrifting, crafting, finding new healthy foods to try and being active.

Olivia

Assistant Coordinator

Olivia enjoys the detail-oriented and time-efficient challenges that can be part of any wedding day. Her creative and leadership skills collide well in the wedding world! Outside of coordinating, Olivia works as a Director of Music & Women’s Ministries at her church, as well as teaching music locally and privately. She loves being with friends, family and traveling!

Molly

Assistant Coordinator

Molly is currently employed by her bosses Lucy, Josie, and Georgia and has the best job ever! She is home with her 3 girls. We love to spend time with friends, play outside, and support our dad as he coaches various sports! Aside from the day to day, Molly enjoys thrifting, coffee, and getting to know people. She used to do office work and enjoys the organization, to do lists, and creativity. She is excited to help bring any dream to life for your magical day!
